Margaret, Part 3: Background

Chris continues to shape how Margaret will look and feel. One thing he knows is that she will be old enough to retire, if there still was such a thing. Knowing this he decides she was alive during the Great War and that only her mother survived. For Background Skills Chris debates between several ideas, Child of the War, Raised in the Church, Grandmother and Rosie the Riveter. Eventually he narrows this down to Child of the War and Grandmother as they encompass a lot of the ideas he wants to convey. Having survived the Great War she saw the rise of the Church and Grandmother represents the eclectic knowledge one might pick up though a lifetime. This also leaves a possible plot hook for David even if her children are grown that doesn’t mean they never see each other.
